Karen Romero

Karen Romero was born in Fort Lauderdale and raised along the coast of Honduras, where she developed a strong sense of community and resilience. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she connects easily with clients from diverse backgrounds. 

Her passion for helping others began early through medical brigades and volunteer work, which led her to study Health Sciences (Pre-Clinical track) at the University of Central Florida. In 2019, she joined The Leach Firm as a legal assistant, where she discovered her passion for law. She went on to pursue her legal education at Barry University School of Law in 2021.

With her combined background in healthcare and law, Karen brings a unique perspective to workers’ compensation cases, allowing her to better understand both the medical and legal challenges her clients face. She is committed to building a career in workers’ compensation, dedicated to advocating for those in need.
