Atheseus Lockhart is a Partner and leader of The Leach Firm’s Personal Injury Department. He is a trial lawyer with over two decades of experience who focuses his practice on all aspects of liability litigation including auto accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and bodily injury.
Atheseus is an aggressive and dedicated advocate for his clients. He is well known for his ability to effectively focus on the needs of his clients to ensure they receive the best possible result for their claim.
Attorney Lockhart began his legal career serving as an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Osceola County where he honed his litigation and trial skills as a felony prosecutor. He then transitioned to civil litigation. Specifically, Attorney Lockhart represented insurance companies for more than 15 years at some of the state’s largest law firms. During that time, Atheseus litigated cases throughout the state of Florida in both county and civil courts. In addition, Attorney Lockhart has written and argued appellate briefs before the Fifth District Court of Appeals. Notably, Atheseus is an AV® rated Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. He now brings his vast knowledge of representing insurance companies to the plaintiff’s side to further help the people.
Attorney Lockhart is a United States Navy Veteran having served as a personnel administrator for thirteen years. While in the Navy, he received numerous awards including five Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals. His service included participation in Operation Just Cause (Panama Canal), Operation Joint Endeavor (Boznia-Herzegovina) and Operation Continue Hope (Somalia).
Atheseus received his Associate Degree in Arts and Bachelor of Science Degree from Columbia College.
He also received his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law.
Atheseus currently lives in Apopka, Florida with his wife and son.
