Annie L. Blanc
Annie L. Blanc was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, where she earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice. While at Florida Atlantic University, Annie was part a myriad of organizations including but not limited to, FAU’s Student Government Program Board, The FAU Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and the Xi Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Following her dream, Annie then went on to attend Florida A&M University College of Law where she earned a Juris Doctor. During law school, Annie participated in the American Civil Liberties Union and the Women Law Caucus.
As a first-generation Haitian-American Attorney, Annie began her career defending indigent individuals in parental rights disputes at a government agency. She then went on to become an Assistant State Attorney before becoming a criminal defense attorney, handling misdemeanors and felonies on both the adult and juvenile level. Since that time, Annie has gained extensive litigation experience by working for insurance defense firms, handling automobile accidents, premises liability, construction defects, and breach of contract claim. Additionally, Annie gained experience in handling first party commercial crime claims for a “Fortune 500” insurance company.
Rekindling her passion for helping others, Annie is now honored to represent victims of wrongful termination and retaliation. Annie handles a variety of cases arising under various laws including but not limited to,
