
Adeash “A.J.” Lakraj has dedicated his practice to protecting employees’ rights in the workplace and helping employees enforce those rights when necessary. A.J. serves as lead counsel in employment litigation matters in state and federal courts, mediations, and arbitrations on claims of race, age, gender, pregnancy, national origin, religion, and disability discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, contract disputes, and violations of the Family Medical Leave Act.
Before joining the Leach Firm, A.J. worked at one of the nations largest plaintiff firms and carries over 5 years of litigation experience. A.J. has been featured in the Atlanta Journal- Constitution for his representation of clients regarding sexual harassment and religious discrimination, and in First Coast News for his continued representation of a client in a disability discrimination claim
A.J. is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the National Employment Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and Georgia Superior, Appeals, and Supreme Courts.
A.J. graduated from the University of Central Florida with degrees in Political Science and Psychology. He received his Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law, where he participated on the Mock Trial and Moot Court teams. Upon graduating in 2015, A.J. further served as the Practicum Supervisor at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory Law School, helping students get practical experience on employment and religious discrimination matters. A.J. is also on the faculty of Emory’s Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques.
